Eligibility Requirements

Eligibility varies by program stream. Below are the details:

Professional Year – Information Technology (ACS)

 

• • Completion of a recognised IT degree in Australia (Bachelor’s or Master’s)

• • Must hold or have applied for a Graduate Visa (Subclass 485) with at least 12 months validity

• • Minimum English language requirement:
    

     

    • • PTE-A score of 50 (no band less than 50) or
    • • IELTS score of 6.0 (no band less than 6.0) or equivalent

Professional Year – Accounting (SMIPA)

 

• • Completion of a recognised Accounting degree in Australia (Bachelor’s or Master’s)

• • Must hold or have applied for a Graduate Visa (Subclass 485) with a minimum 12 months validity

• • Minimum English language requirement:
    

     

    • • PTE-A overall score of 50 (no band less than 50) or
    • • IELTS score of 6.0 (no band less than 6.0) or equivalent

Professional Year – Engineering (EEA)

 

• • Recognised Engineering degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) from an Australian institution
    

     

    • • Note: Graduates from institutions outside Australia can also apply if they hold a Subclass 476 Skilled – Recognised Graduate Visa

• • Minimum English language requirement:
    

     

    • • IELTS score of 6.0 (no band less than 5.0) or
    • • PTE-A overall score of 50 (no band less than 36) or equivalent

• • Must hold a Subclass 485 or Subclass 476 visa

• • A valid Migration Skills Assessment outcome from Engineers Australia
